“My husband & I decided to arrange a very special, once in a lifetime, holiday. We wanted to take our 5 adult children, along with their partners, away to celebrate the significant birthdays we were both having this year. It was a selfish desire on our part & ‘compulsory fun’ for them! The only decision that we had made was it had to be on a Turkish Gulet. By happy coincidence, we were recommended to Jenny Day & DayDreams Travel by an Australian friend. Unlike some people we had no fixed idea of what we wanted or where we wanted to go, other than have a fabulous, relaxing holiday!
Jenny was very helpful & attentive to detail with suggestions of itineraries, menus & drink selections. Very patient too when flights kept getting moved. She was also very knowledgeable about the boat, the crew, the area & other more loosely connected things that were of importance to us. Our trip was unique. It was designed for us, tailor-made. Our telephone discussions sketched out the ideas, Jenny put flesh on the bones & then we approved the plans, tweaking where necessary.
Cevri Hasan V, Captain Taner & his crew were beyond our wildest expectations. Every detail was perfect but the best part was that everything was relaxed & effortless. We were made to feel completely at home & any request was met with a big smile & a ‘can do’ attitude. One concern our children had was that a week was a long time to be together in a confined space…. With so many things to do, swim, paddle board, kayak, sail, water ski etc & the Captain’s innate hospitality skills, nobody felt trapped at all. We all did our own thing very happily & gathered together for meals, which were superbly prepared, truly delicious & particularly plentiful.
It was honestly the best holiday Jeremy & I have had & we have been privileged to enjoy some beautiful & elite destinations. We had the most wonderful time with all the family, making many happy & some hilarious memories. And interestingly, this sentiment was echoed by each of the ‘children’ too.” Sara & Jeremy Curnock Cook travelled from the UK in late May 2019
