CHARTER PRICES – HOW TO BOOK
DayDreams gulet charter services are tailor made to suit individual clients. We take a brief from each client and then make recommendations on which gulets we think will work best, providing flexibility across all arrangements. For example, a family group might want to focus on relaxation and water sports, while the more mature traveller might want to tour archaeological sites accessible from the coast. We can advise on the most appropriate route and flights to suit an itinerary, although clients are responsible for booking their own flights. We can also advise on land tours and hotel stays to add to a week on a gulet. As we have some excellent cooks and chefs on board our gulets we will liaise closely with clients on menus, dietary issues and wine lists.
PRICES/BOATS
As we have a large number of gulets to choose from, we have produced the table below as a guide to the cost of weekly boat rentals for standard, luxury and deluxe gulets. These rates are in GBPounds. We will provide a fixed rental in GB pounds for a specific boat if dates can be agreed at the time of quotation. For detailed GBP quotations on individual gulets and to receive our price lists please email [email protected]. Please note that a surcharge may apply during the 2023 season due to the unprecedented fuel crisis affecting the cost of diesel and the general cost of living crisis affecting all operating costs.

HOW TO BOOK
Firstly check with us on the availability of the boat of your choice. The group leader will be asked to sign a standard charter agreement (example available from our office). 50% of the total boat rental will be required as a deposit at the time of booking and signing the contract. The balance, including any additional charges, will be due eight weeks prior to the departure date. Alternative arrangements are available on very early bookings. For all other information please refer to the Fact File and our standard Terms and Conditions (pdf version available).
FINANCIAL PROTECTION
To protect you, the client, DayDreams Travel Ltd has established a separate Clients Account with Barclays Bank plc under the control of an independent accountant: Mr Robert Mugford FCCA of Bray Accountants, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PE. Monies received from UK clients for sea and land-based elements of a holiday are held in the Clients Account until commencement of the holiday, except for the deposit required by a supplier to secure a boat charter. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, all clients’ monies due will be returned to them.
FLIGHTS
Flights are not included in any of our prices. We can advise on appropriate flights to fit your itinerary. Those clients based in the UK can have their flights arranged through an IATA/ABTA agency, Diplomat Travel Ltd, who are fully bonded by the Civil Aviation Authority under Atol 1355. Details of scheduled and charter flights with airlines such as British Airways, Easyjet, Jet 2, TUI who fly from regional UK airports direct to Bodrum and Dalaman in Turkey will be advised at the time of booking.
FOOD/DRINKS/PROVISIONING
In these extraordinary (economic) times we are now faced with crazy rates of inflation in Turkey. You may be aware of their recent general election. The resulting changes in government and the ensuing changes to the taxation system and VAT have impacted on everyone, including travel companies like ourselves. VAT at 20% is applied to everything including food. We are now switching to offering Full Board arrangements which cover your menu on board, general items such as cleaning materials, mineral water, tea and coffee, etc. There is a fixed price per person for a budget-style menu and alternative luxury-style menu. Full details are available from the office. Payment for full board is to be made 30 days in advance of your charter by international bank transfer direct to our Turkish partners.
All meals are cooked on board by the onboard cook/chef unless, of course, guests wish to sample the cuisine offered by local restaurants. Meals are based on fresh local vegetables, fish, meat, cheese, fruit and yoghurt. Vegetarian and special dietary dishes are available on request. The style of cooking is based on Turkish Mediterranean home cooking with an emphasis on fresh local produce.
