Imagine waking in the morning with the sun streaming through the porthole and then slipping over the side of the boat for a swim before breakfast. And what a breakfast: irresistible Turkish yoghurt and honey, eggs any way you want, fruit, cheeses, olives, luscious tomatoes and local breads. Anchor up, off you go to a beautiful bay for a swim, or potter about on a canoe. A delicious lunch follows, more swimming, relaxing in the sun and perhaps a siesta! Winds permitting, the sails might go up, as we move along the coast to another magical setting for dinner and an overnight stay. Dinners feature barbeques, local specialities, endless different mezze and a wonderful variety of Turkish home cooking; all eaten under the stars. For the more restless individuals, there is an opportunity to go on shore every day, which may be a wild walk along a forestry trail, a visit to a local village or an important archaeological site, or a combination of these. Of course the trips are strictly optional - a DayDreams holiday is all about relaxation!

May 12 - 22 (10 nights/11 days)
Bodrum - Hisaranu Gulf - Fethiye
Starting at Bodrum, we will explore the Hisaranu gulf before travelling to Fethiye to finish the cruise.

June 9 - 23 (14 nights/15 days)
Northern Dodecanese Islands
This itinerary will start at Bodrum and follow a route through the following islands: Kos, where we will complete Greek immigration and port formalities, Kalymnos, Levita, Leros, Lipsi, Patmos and Samos. Return to Turkey at Turgutries/Bodrum.

September 15 - 25 (10 nights/11 days)
Southern Dodecanese Islands
Starting at Bodrum, our route takes us to Kos, where we will complete Greek immigration and port formalities; visiting Nissyros, Tilos and Symi, returning to Bozborun (Turkey). We finish the itinerary at Bodrum.

September 26 - October 6 (10 nights/11 days)
Bodrum - Hisaranu Gulf - Bodrum
We will start this itinerary at Bodrum, explore the Hisaranu Gulf with a visit to Knidos en route to Bodrum where we finish the cruise.

October 8 - 16 (8 nights/9 days)
Bodrum-Gokova Gulf-Bodrum
Beautiful National Park area with lovely walks on shore along forestry trails.

The minimum number of people required is 6 and the maximum is 10.

HOW TO BOOK

Telephone the office on + 44 (0) 1884 849200 or e-mail jennyday@daydreams-travel.com for the latest availability and details of each party. We will send you a booking form which should be returned to us together with a deposit of £150 per person. Confirmation of your booking will then be sent to you. The balance of the holiday will be due eight weeks prior to departure.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Prices are per person. Almost everything is included on our schooner parties: boat rental, services of captain and crew, on-board hostess/tour leader, transfers to and from the airport by air-conditioned minibus when travelling with the group. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, bottled water, tea & coffee and a welcome drinks party. For land based holidays, please refer to the individual itineraries for full details of what is included and not included.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED ON SCHOONER PARTIES

Drinks (the boat runs its own bar selling local drinks - gin, raki, beer, soft drinks, wine & liqueurs). Clients may bring one bottle only of duty free spirit on board. Gratuities to crew. (Once a week it is customary to give the crew a night off and passengers eat out at their own expense.) There are no single cabins, but if space allows, we will make a charge of £300-400 for sole occupancy of a double cabin. At all times we will endeavour to find a suitable person to share. Please note that Euro charges imposed by Greek ports, agents and immigration authorities are passed on as they arise and shared equally between passengers.

FLIGHTS

Flights are not included in any of our prices as some of our clients travel from different destinations. Details of appropriate flights for all UK based clients are advised at the time of booking. For all UK based clients DayDreams will make the flight bookings which will mean that the entire holiday is covered under the DayDreams ATOL 9006. DayDreams Travel Limited is fully bonded by the Civil Aviation Authority. We use Turkish Airlines scheduled flights from London Heathrow and Manchester. Most international flights connect through Istanbul to the regional airports closest to the ports we use on each itinerary. We also use direct flights from UK regional airports if the timings are appropriate.
